Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions are designed to ensure lessons run smoothly and fairly for everyone. By enrolling at LKS Piano Academy, you agree to the following:

1. Enrolment & Fees

  • Lessons are booked and paid for in advance each month.
  • Payment can be made via bank transfer, standing order, or cash.
  • Lessons will only be reserved once payment is received.

2. Lesson Attendance & Cancellations

  • Your regular lesson time is reserved for you each week.
  • If you need to cancel, at least 72 hours’ notice must be given.
  • Lessons cancelled with less than 72 hours’ notice are charged in full and are non-refundable.
  • No credits, swaps, or reschedules are offered for missed or cancelled lessons.

3. Practice Expectations

  • Students are expected to practise regularly between lessons to make good progress.
  • Parents/guardians are encouraged to support younger students’ practice at home.
  • Written practice notes will be provided in the student’s practice book or online portal.

4. Lesson Conduct

  • Please arrive on time. Lessons cannot be extended for late arrivals.
  • Students should bring all music books, practice notebooks, and any other required materials to each lesson.
  • Respectful and positive behaviour is expected at all times.

5. Exams, Performances & Events

  • Participation in exams, concerts, or competitions is encouraged but optional.
  • Decisions about exam readiness will be made by the teacher in the student’s best interest.

6. Photography & Video

  • Occasionally, photos or short videos may be taken during lessons, concerts, or events for use on our website, social media, or promotional materials.
  • Permission will always be requested from parents/guardians before posting any images of children.

7. Safeguarding

  • LKS Piano Academy is committed to providing a safe, supportive learning environment.

8. Termination of Lessons

  • A minimum of 2 weeks’ notice (or payment in lieu) is required to end lessons.
  • LKS Piano Academy reserves the right to end lessons if fees are unpaid, attendance is irregular, or behaviour is inappropriate.

9. Agreement

  • By signing up for lessons at LKS Piano Academy, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions.
